Old Stables Cottage
As its name suggests this was the former stable byre and like the main house dates back to the 1700's.
Old Stables is the smallest of the three properties having a double / twin and a single bedroom. A fourth person can be accommodated on a guest bed within the single room.
This warm and cosy cottage has bright, airy rooms and a comfortable homely atmosphere. It overlooks country lanes and fields and takes advantage of the beautiful sunsets.
The lounge has a colour TV with Sky, a VCR, radio and a selection of videos, books and games. Tourist information is supplied to help plan your days and evenings, including a selection of our personal recommendations and circular walks, drives and cycle routes. The open plan lounge / kitchen / dining area have seating and catering facilities for four people and the kitchen is equipped with a hob and an easy to use combination oven / microwave. Facing West the front windows allow the cottage to take full advantage of the beautiful sunsets. At the rear is a small porch / sunroom which overlooks the landscaped courtyard and is ideal for storing outdoor clothing and equipment.
