There is so much to see and do on holiday in Dumfries and Galloway that you will be spoilt for choice. The bustling town of Stranraer with its ferry to Belfast is ideal for shopping, while the harbour village of Portpatrick offers award winning cuisine. Dunskey and Logan gardens are close by, as is Wigtown, Scotland's book town. Dumfries and Galloway has renowned bird reserves at the nearby Mull of Galloway and Creetown woods.

Our three self-catering holiday cottages are nestled amongst the delightful countryside of Dumfries and Galloway between Portpatrick and Stranraer. With easy access to a selection of beaches, golf courses, gardens and castles, this beautiful coast of South West Scotland is ideal for couples or families with children.

The self catering accommodation is a perfect place to relax and enjoy a holiday in glorious surroundings of quiet countryside yet within easy reach of the busy town of Stranraer with its links to Ireland. Dumfries and Galloway offers so much to the holiday maker; once found, Dumfries and Galloway is never forgotten.

We have secure off-road parking with Elm Cottage having a private car park for two vehicles. The gardens and courtyard are furnished with tables and chairs for guests to relax and enjoy the sunsets. A fully equipped BBQ set is available for hire to use within the grounds or to take out.

For children there is a secure playing field adjacent to the self catering cottages which is equipped with a rustic playcentre and a selection of outdoor games including badminton, cricket, football, boules etc. plus picnic tables and chairs.


Horses are very welcome at Crailloch Croft holiday accommodation and we are able to offer free summer grazing plus use of our 40 x 20m arena.
